Revitalize. Reinvest. Remember.
The Real Estate Donation Initiative is a collaborative effort to support veterans in honor of their service.
The United Relief Foundation, National Women Veterans United, and URB, inc. are utilizing their resources to raise awareness of veterans’ needs and to demonstrate how a real estate donation can magnify a donor’s philanthropy while spotlighting both collective and individual efforts in service to those who’ve served.
The collaboration will also facilitate real estate donations while raising awareness and support for an expanded National Women Veterans United Resources & Resilience Center.
United by Purpose. Driven by Compassion.
Year-round, the Real Estate Donation Initiative will consider all types of houses as well as multi-use, retail, and commercial properties, in any condition.
In addition to a charitable tax deduction, your Property Donation with Purpose may also free you from the costs, responsibilities, and burdens of ownership. This is especially valuable if your property is vacant, in need of repairs, has code violations, is expensive to maintain, or was inherited.
Thanks to the generous support of real estate professionals at URB, Inc., who donate their time and expertise, the process of donating your property is straightforward and at no cost to you.
Expanded Resources & Resilience Center Imperative.
More Than a Building—A Comprehensive System of Support: As planning begins, the imperative is clear: the relocation and expansion of a military Women Veterans Center will be more than a 30,000 square foot building; it will serve as a comprehensive system of support.
While the NWVU military Women Veterans Center may be in Chicago or a neighboring suburb, its reach will extend far beyond its physical location. Already serving women veterans statewide and collaborating with partners across the country, this expansion will elevate NWVU’s capacity to confront long-standing gaps with modern, integrated support—designed by and for women veterans.
