NWVU Stand Down September 2026
WE SEE YOU! WE HEAR YOU! WE SUPPORT YOU!
If you’re a woman who served — any branch, any era — this Stand Down is for you. Whether you’re thriving, rebuilding, transitioning, or simply curious, you’ll find something meaningful attending NWVU Stand Downs.
Why NWVU Stand Downs Matter
Serving in every branch and every role — often without the acknowledgment or resources afforded to their male counterparts — an overwhelming number of women veterans describe the disheartening feeling of being overlooked, even invisible, in traditional veteran spaces.
NWVU Stand Downs are dedicated to meet the needs of women who served:
- A safe, welcoming environment where your service is honored without assumptions or stereotypes.
- Programs tailored to women’s experiences, including health, mental wellness, career support, and family resources.
- A community of sisters-in-service who understand the unique challenges and triumphs of military life.
With the NWVU and our Stand Downs, you don’t have to explain yourself — you simply matter!
