Harris, served in the United States Air Force (1998-2012), Rank: Lieutenant Colonel, Chaplain (Retired December 2012), United States Army National Guard & Reserve, Rank: Captain Chaplain (1980-1998) and the United States Marine Corps (Honorable Discharge), Rank: Corporal (1975-1979).
